Community Spotlight: Sonic’s Web Comic
January 17th, 2012 by StafThe Sonic community is one thing that I support, almost on every aspect. For one, it’s lonely to be a fan by yourself. Having other people who also enjoy the same things as you can help you enjoy them more. You’ve also got to remember that I am part of the community. This website that I run is nothing but community. Using what I can, I love to support others. Here’s a little project that another fan has going on that I would like to showcase.

Second Sonic Generations Demo Coming for PS3 and 360
October 17th, 2011 by StafThe US SEGA Blog has revealed that a new demo for Sonic Generations will be coming out next week.
Today we are excited to confirm that a second demo is incoming for Sonic Generations! Best of all, it’s coming really really soon – like really soon! The second demo for the game will be available via Xbox Live Arcade on 19th October across North America and Europe and PlayStation Network on 25th October for North America! You’ve been waiting patiently, you’ve seen the demos, videos and materials we’ve been teasing – now you can enjoy the demo a few days ahead of the full game release on November 1st!
The first demo, released on June 23rd 2011 – the anniversary of Sonic’s 20th year – allowed fans to play as Classic Sonic only. Now the second demo not only contains the Classic content you enjoyed, but now adds in Modern Sonic in the iconic Green Hill level from Sonic Generations! Take that Monday, this week just got a whole lot better!
That’s right! In addition to getting a taste of the game a second time around, this time you get to try it as Modern Sonic in Green Hill! Only just over two weeks left until the game comes out for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. The Nintendo 3DS version will be following those ones a bit later.
Which version will you be getting? What aspect of the game are you most looking forward to? Sound off at the forums!
Sonic Underground is Available on Netflix Instant Streaming
September 2nd, 2011 by StafIn case you missed out on watching Sonic Underground, wanted to watch it all (or just see how interesting it really is), and have a Netflix Instant Streaming account, you can find the show and watch all 40 episodes!
![]()
This is an interesting move since Sega has been trying to improve the quality of Sonic in the past couple of years. Sonic Underground is considered to be the worst of all the Sonic series that have aired. Between the cheesy songs in the middle of each episode, the plot hanging around Sonic and his siblings trying to reunite with their mother, and the fact that Sonic, his brother Manic, and even his sister Sonia were all voiced by Jaleel White leads to a very interesting show. I will not say it is bad, though. Once you get past the initial shock of the show being so different, it is overall more enjoyable than it is bad.
But why listen to me? Go out there and watch it for yourselves!
