Site Redesign!

Tuesday, May 31st, 2011

You may notice that a redesign is currently going on. Rather than do this nice and smoothly as some sites do, some things went wrong during the updating process. That means…you get to enjoy the construction as it happens! It will be a slight mix of old and new until the new is finished and updated on every page. Feel free to make any complains or suggestions over at the forums during this process.

Forums! …again!

Saturday, October 2nd, 2010

I’ve went and recreated the forums, since the last one had so many issues and no real posts. Fortunately now for you guys, there is a new place to talk! It also has something of a skin this time around! While it is a bit bare at the moment, we can fix that together! Go ahead, sign up, and start talking about your love (or hate (preferably love)) of Sonic the Hedgehog!

Sonic and the Black Knight Out Now!

Wednesday, March 4th, 2009

In North America, that is. You Europeans and Japanese have another week to wait. In the meantime, I’ve started putting up pages of various aspects of the game. It’ll be  a while before it’s all up, but I’m constantly working on it! Now that it’s out I’m moved the Sonic and the Black Knight subforum out of upcoming Sonic games and into current Sonic games. Head over to the forums, register, and start talking about the game!

Forums!

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

Just so you know, I put up some forums. I’ll improve on the graphical side of them some point in the future, but for now you can get to posting and talk about Sonic or the site or whatever. Good for you guys, getting a voice!

I’m back!

Saturday, January 3rd, 2009

So you may have noticed a lack of updates for the past month. For some reason I was blocked from my own site. Not sure how that happened, but it’s fixed now, so who cares! I’ve updated all the Archie comics pages so they are currently up to date and I’ll continue updating things now. Fun!

Archie Sonic Comic Archives and Sonic Unleashed Now Up!

Wednesday, November 19th, 2008

I’ve finally finished putting together the archives for the Sonic the Hedgehog Archie comic series. If you click on the Sonic the Hedgehog (Archie) link on the left, you’ll be able to browse through all the different series/spin-offs/miniseries and check the cover and description out of the different comics. I’ve even included the first few pages of the more recent comics. The first looks, if you will. Browse through, relive memories, and become informed. Most of the info about the older stuff was taken from Sonic HQ, who sadly stopped updating near the beginning of this year. After sending off an e-mail, they were fine with the format. No angry e-mails from people saying I stole it!

On a more playable note, Sonic Unleashed came out today. While playing through my copy, I’ll be updating the page with info about the game. I’ll be playing the Wii version, so until any major differences between the versions come out, that will be what is written. In the meantime, I suggest you all go out and pick up the game now!

Back Online

Thursday, July 24th, 2008

Being the first to scan some images and write some facts from the article in Nintendo Power gave Blue Blur a bit of a spike in traffic, causing all 10GB of my bandwidth to be eaten. I’ve upgraded and am back online to bring you the newest news as it happens, along with keeping you up to date on all things that have happened already. I’ve got nearly 18 years of Sonic to cover, so keep checking back for regular updates.

Let’s Try This Again

Saturday, July 19th, 2008

So all of my attemts over the past year and a half to have an ongoing site have failed. I’ll try once again to get daily updates until it is complete while posting all the newest news. I’ve now installed WordPress so I do not have to manually make newsposts. Mostly this site is just here for me to learn how to do various things and have fun while doing it, so this entire site was put together from scratch with me having no idea how to do anything. Incorporating the design around wordpress has taken many hours of figuring out various items, but with each thing I do I learn how to do it. The more I do the faster it becomes. If you notice anything wrong with the site, just send off an e-mail to let me know and I’ll go about figuring out how to fix it. I’m leaving up all the old, horrible posts just to document the first year and a half of the site. While they aren’t anything to look at, it wouldn’t be cool to just take them down. That’s all the site news you need to know. One page a day, that’s still the goal. Let’s begin. Again.

Warning! Challenger Approaching!

Wednesday, October 10th, 2007

So if you haven’t heard the news already, Sonic has been announced to be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This is a great day for Sonic fans. You can go to the Smash Bros. Dojo!! to see pictures and a video clip of him in action.

I’ve decided to take a new approach to getting the site fully running. I’m going to do one page a day. For the most part, the page will be one Zone if it’s a game, one episode if it’s a show, or one issue if it’s a comic. I think that this is the best way to get me to actually get content up on the site. If I wait until it is all done, it may never be unveiled to the public. So here we start. From now until Monday I will try to get as many pages done as I can, but after than I’ll try to stick to one a day. Of course, more than one will surely be welcome to you guys. For now, just browse the site and send me an e-mail if there’s something you think can be done to make the site better. I’ll take comments and complains, although I’ll usually ignore all the complaints. Don’t worry about missing a page, though. I’ll announce here on the front page if something new has gone up. October 10th. 10/10. Here we go. The first day of opening.
