It begins when Shahra, the genie of the ring, appears to Sonic explaining that the book of the Arabian Nights was in trouble and needed his help. An evil Genie, Erazor, is erasing the pages of the book one by one in order to rewrite it his own way. Sonic must stop him before the Arabian Nights are no more.
