October 10th, 2007. You open www.smashbros.com and what do you see? Sonic is in Brawl! It’s been one year since then and the game has been out for seven months. What has changed since then? It’s pretty cool how the excitement happened only a year ago, but now it seems common.

The Smash Bros. DOJO!! has updated with some more Sonic info! They’re bringing back standard Sonic movies in a stylish way. It starts out with the Spin Dash. It’s Sonic’s side special movie. While spinning, it’s also possible to jump and hit others in the air.

Sonic’s next move is his down special move. The Spin Charge. Like the Spin Dash, only you stay in one spot instead of dashing around the stage.

The final move that’s been revealed is the up special move. It’s the classic Spring Jump brought back from every Sonic game! When you press the up special move, a spring will appear launching you high into the air. Watch out where using it, though. If used on ground, the spring can also launch other characters into the air.

So if you haven’t heard the news already, Sonic has been announced to be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This is a great day for Sonic fans. You can go to the Smash Bros. Dojo!! to see pictures and a video clip of him in action.

I’ve decided to take a new approach to getting the site fully running. I’m going to do one page a day. For the most part, the page will be one Zone if it’s a game, one episode if it’s a show, or one issue if it’s a comic. I think that this is the best way to get me to actually get content up on the site. If I wait until it is all done, it may never be unveiled to the public. So here we start. From now until Monday I will try to get as many pages done as I can, but after than I’ll try to stick to one a day. Of course, more than one will surely be welcome to you guys. For now, just browse the site and send me an e-mail if there’s something you think can be done to make the site better. I’ll take comments and complains, although I’ll usually ignore all the complaints. Don’t worry about missing a page, though. I’ll announce here on the front page if something new has gone up. October 10th. 10/10. Here we go. The first day of opening.
